About: This piece was inspired by an old ink drawing I made for another project that looked very similar to this one. It’s a representation of what quarantine has felt like to me. I’ve felt so restricted, since we couldn’t go anywhere. In terms of the screen head, that was from the fact that everything shifted to being online in 2020, and we didn’t really get to see anyone. I was very much inspired by the neon and LED light aesthetics. I really adore the idea of simplicity and lights used to create pictures. I don’t have too much experience working with glowing textures, so playing with the lighting was a fun and new experience.
